La Sorgente, fondata nel 1920, fu la prima industria a produrre liquori a Napoli. Il primo prodotto aziendale fu l’Anice Reale che divenne immediatamente popolarissimo e che è entrato a far parte della tradizione napoletana, dove in ogni bar o caffè, immancabile è la bottiglia. Fu naturale la scelta di attingere dal grande patrimonio artigianale per elaborare prodotti senza mai allontanarsi dai valori della genuinità napoletana e più in generale meridionale; ne sono testimonianza, l’Anice Reale, il Melanurc (liquore di Mela annurca I.G.P.), gli sciroppi naturali, i liquori e le bagne per dolci.
